The 2026 Israeli Seminar on Computational Linguistics (ISCOL 2026) invites presentations of recent work in all areas of natural language processing, computational linguistics and closely related fields. We accept work underway, provided that it represents recent and original work of interest to our audience, as well as work that has been submitted or published at other venues. Submitted papers do not need to be anonymous.
Submission format: Please submit your work as a PDF file. Use the *ACL format for extended abstracts, or the format required by the conference/journal for full papers.
We accept two types of submissions:
- Extended abstracts (up to 2 pages, not including references).
- Full papers that were submitted to other related venues. Please indicate at the end of the abstract field in the submission form whether the paper was accepted (and in this case, to which venue), or is currently under review.

FAQ
What is ISCOL?
ISCOL is the Israel Seminar on Computational Linguistics, a community venue for NLP and CL research.
Where is ISCOL 2026 taking place?
ISCOL 2026 will be held at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Israel. Exact venue details are TBD.
Do I need to register to attend ISCOL?
Yes, registration is mandatory. Registration will open closer to the event. Details coming soon.
Is ISCOL archival?
No. Works presented at ISCOL will not be considered as archived.
How does the review process work?
Submissions are lightly reviewed by the organizing committee to ensure relevance and quality. The process is not anonymous. The goal is to maintain a friendly and inclusive environment for sharing research.
Can I submit a paper that was published or accepted to be published in another venue?
Yes. Preferably if it was accepted (to be) published during 2026 and was not presented in previous ISCOL events.
Can I submit a full paper instead of an extended abstract?
Yes. Please indicate whether the paper was accepted (and venue), or is currently under review. A mature work (in progress) that has not yet been submitted to any venue is also fine.
What are the submission file format and style?
You should submit a PDF file, using the *ACL format if it's an extended abstract, or the format of the conference/journal for full papers.
How long are the oral presentations?
12 minutes presentation + 3 minutes Q&A for each oral presentation.
Will I need to print my poster?
Yes. You will have to print your own posters, hang it in the break before your poster session and take it down during the break following your poster session.
What are the dimensions for the posters?
The poster stands are vertical, and their dimensions are 100 cm * 200 cm, so A0 (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm) is recommended.
What is the event language?
English. All presentations will be in English.
Will food be provided?
Yes, you won't starve (hopefully!). There will be a light breakfast and coffee breaks throughout the event, as well as lunch.
